Mckinsey’s report, Women in the Healthcare Industry, shows a higher female representation at all levels in the healthcare industry than in other sectors. However, while women occupy a large share of entry-level line roles, their representation declines rapidly at more senior levels. To learn about the ‘secret formula’ of how to achieve ambitious career goals we have invited three brilliant women in senior leadership positions from the healthcare industry to share their experiences.

How to develop a successful career in the healthcare industry



Concha Caudevilla,Seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in the health care space, Concha has worked for OTSUKA PHARMACEUTICALS, SCHERING-PLOUGH-MSD, NOVARTIS, and FRESENIUS KABI. She combines a strong scientific background with a broad base of general management, medical, market access, and marketing experience in large multinational pharmaceutical companies in Spain. Concha is currently President of the IESE Alumni healthcare chapter




Elisenda Griño has 15 years of work experience in Diagnostics and Medical Devices. She works in the International Key Accounts Program Office at Roche. She holds an MSc in biochemistry from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from IESE. Elisenda has experience in marketing, product management, and digital across Europe and Latam.




Rosa M. Orriols,PhD, was Advisor on Dangerous Drugs at the European Comission and MEP’s
and WHO’s leader in protecting global healthcare workers from blod-borne pathogen exposure.
She received her BSChE from Barcelona University in Barcelona, PhD from Suffolk University and her Master from the Universitat Politècnica Catalunya in Barcelona. Her research and work focus on preventing harmful exposures and creating healthy environments at work. Currently she is focus in Sustainable Organizations, Landing SDG on the reality.
